John's first trout was taken at an early age on this famed NY river and he's brought several thousand more to hand in Western Carolina, NH, VT and places beyond over the years. As time went by and opportunities presented John pursued trout across the globe, from the Western American rivers, creeks and high altitude lakes to the rivers and streams of Labrador, New Zealand and Europe. Some of his escapades and fish have been chronicled in the Orvis News and American Angler Magazine.

It was a great day out on the river with Thenna! We had some good fishing action, and I'm happy to share the experience.

We used standard fishing techniques to target the native trout in this beautiful river. While we didn't catch anything too big, the peaceful surroundings and relaxing time on the water made it a worthwhile trip.

The weather was pleasant, and the water conditions seemed ideal for our outing. Even though the fish were a bit elusive, we still had an enjoyable time exploring this scenic river location.

The three major fishing grounds of the world, which are located in the temperate latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere. Fish is an important item of people living in Coastal States and fisheries are confined to Gujarat, Malabar Coast, Gulf of Mannar and Tamil Nadu. The variet­ies on Indian shores are herring, mackerel, prawns, mullets, etc. Fish resource is renewable. But accord­ing to experts there are signs of depletion, like cod in North Atlantic, lobster in Newfoundland. This deple­tion is due to pollution of the water through sewage and industrial wastes.
